I'm starting this thread to share a few observations based on my mini-hoard of T19s -- with the caveat that I still haven't found a reliable method for precise identification.

In searching for a replacement T19 superdome crystal, I luckily came across this - https://truedome.com I've done a search and have only come up with FS listings with these installed.

Rolex Forums - Rolex Forum > Rolex & Tudor Watch Topics > Vintage Rolex Discussion: T19 Superdome Saw a seller claiming a gen. Tropic 19 superdome for 5513, is it correct? Does the T19 has a superdome version? Thought superdome only applies to T39 for SD. So, after doing a ton of reading, it would seem to be the consensus that CWP in Hong Kong does the best T19 "Superdome" crystal. Thing is, it's with shipping, and I'm really trying to keep costs down on this one (a cartel 5513). My understanding is that the CWP crystals are not only more fait.

I've been doing some research on super domes for my 1680 sub and it seems the two popular options are the tropic 19 and tropic 39 domes. From what I read it seems it is extremely hard to find a genuine super dome nowadays and most that are for sale are Rolex service domes passed off as originals.

Greetings RWG'ers! Just acquired an oldskool MBW 5513 and can't wait to begin work on the modification. First thing on the list is the Tropic replacement. Planning to go with Clarks. Question for those old hands: 1) 5513 as well as 1680 have a thinner metal bezel construct, will a T39 SD look ove. Moreover, Rolex fitted these watches with a domed T19 SuperDome crystal and it’s just magnificent. Similar to the Sea-Dweller that I own, this crystal adds a ton of character to what is otherwise a very stark watch. I bought my superdome (Tropic 25-39) for my DRSD from Mark Greenburg from New York, who seems to be well respected on the various forums. I had it fitted by the expert watchmaker that Mike Wood kindly put me on to. I've been looking for a T19 Superdome to install on my 5513 and someone contacted me to sell a used one.
