I'd appreciate some help in order to date one of my recent purchases and gather further info about its movement: it's a Sicura Submarine Super Waterproof. I'm aware of the relation between Breitling and Sicura, as it is well documented on some websites dedicated to history of horology.
There isn't much info on Sicuras out there, but basically when Breitling closed shop in the 80s, Sicura's owner bought the rights to the name, and a few years later rebranded Sicura as "Breitling" even though the brand now had nothing to do with the Breitling of old.
A very interesting and unique Sicura (by Breitling..supposedly) available for your consideration. This interesting watch falls a bit outside of my wheelhouse, if you haven't noticed vintage Grand Seiko is more my thing. So if I have this priced cheap -- well my loss is your gain.
