Keep in mind we are talking in very small fractions of movement here. The endlink should be snug against the case to prevent unnecessary metal to metal wear.. The C&I end links seem to have a few more fitment issues but can be easily made to fit if you know where to make the adjustments. Your end links appear to be open too much and you might possibly need to close them a little to get the springbars to enter the lug holes. One could even adjust their fit by just squeezing them a little flatter or bending them open. Solid end links have really attributed to the — you guessed it — solid feel of modern bracelets. They add heft and are less likely to jingle than a vintage bracelet with hollow end links.
