In addition to a full-thermo Ultralon liner, removable rear spoiler, easy to actuate Power V-Lock cuff release, rockered WTR soles and Dynafit-certified tech fittings, the XT Freetour 130 LV also sports grippy mid-arch cladding for secure scrambling and boot-packing. Lange Freetour 130 delivers low volume, aggressive performance, and touring capability. Take the low-volume fit and aggressive stance you expect from a four-buckle Lange boot, subtract the weight penalty, add touring components, and you’ve got the MSRP: 0. 4 reviews. Gege (Guest) 07/01/2021. Strengths: looks good. Membrane sole also fits in alpine bindings. Weaknesses: Softer than 130 Felx, Buckles almost impossible to get out of the anchorages when opening, Switching from walk to ski mode does not always work, Walk Mode hardly noticeable even while walking. Summary: Not recommended! Model year: 2020The new Freetour XT 130 is one majorly badass alpine touring boot—we’re talking Vin Diesel badass. Stiff yet lightweight Grilamid plastic makes up the shell and a lightweight Ultralon foam liner offers customization and toasty insulation that’s impervious to packing out.Combined with Lange’s patented ski/hike system with Power V-Lock and over 40° range-of-motion, the XT Freetour redefines what a touring boot is capable of and creates a new freetouring benchmark in weight and performance.

Lange offers the XT 130 Freetour in the LV fit I tested (97 mm last) as well as a 100mm-lasted version. I opted to review the Freetour in the same “LV” fit that I had success with in the 15/16 XT 130, and I plugged the ZipFit liners that I’d been using in the XT 130s right into the Freetour shells.
