The Cyma WWW Dirty Dozen wears wonderfully well, and is perfectly balanced on the wrist. Legibility is great as you would expect from a military field watch. The old cyma movement is so sturdy that it is just as efficient now as it was 70 years ago. The easiest way to identify the fake is from the alignment of the case back. The authentic Seamaster 300M has a NAIAD lock. This means it will align perfectly. The fake, quite simply, does not. The red-filled engraving on the rotor is also much sharper on the authentic Seamaster 300M.
